If it has been a while since your site was
re-built or updated, here is what we recommend you do ...
1) Honestly evaluate your current site.
Gather a few people to get an honest evaluation of your existing site. Write
down three successes and three failures of your current site and then write down your
dreams and goals for your new site.
2) Take a look at your competitors' sites.
You can learn a lot by looking at your competition. Get ideas about the latest web
design, technology and communication concepts by looking analytically at competitor
sites. While you are there, notice some of the keywords they are using to get the
search engines. Also, be sure to note things about their sites that you don't like.
3) Determine what you want to have as your sites' theme and its 'look and feel'.
Write three adjectives to describe the way you want your site to feel. The first
generation of websites were written by the guy who knew HTML but not much about
graphic design and writing. Now people realize that it takes all of these elements
to make a quality web page.
4) Determine your site's content.
This is the main reason why people visit your site. Well-written content adds to
your credibility. Have several outsiders read your content to see if it is clear,
up-to-date, and accurate. Keep what works, re-write what doesn't.
5) Walk through your site as a customer.
Are you making it easy for your customers to do business with you? Can they find
what they need quickly? Can they respond easily? One major component of re-designing
a website is to make things easy for visitors and customers. Carefully think through
what a customer needs to do to get what he needs.
6) Hire the right people to re-design it.
Your website is your signature. It is often the only way for people to evaluate who
you are. Your profits depend on the quality of your site. Don't regret a poor
decision in choosing who re-designs your website. Take it to the experts.

You already have a website. But, when was the last time it was re-designed?
Can you remember?
Websites need continuous improvement. Just browse around the internet for
a few minutes and you will discover sites that look old and obsolete. You'll
discover websites that look like they were built by a professional, and
websites that look like they were built by the company owner's cousin.
We're not here to critique or 'bash' anyone's design ability. Everyone
learns and grows as they go along. And, to be honest, the sites
that we designed a few years ago are beginning to look old and
tired, too. It's just a fact of life on the internet: Things are
constantly growing, changing, and evolving.
Your site should be doing so, too.
Our site has been completely re-built, from the ground up, three times since
it was first launched in 1999. And, you can see an evolution in the design as
technology has progressed ...

portfolio.
Then, take just a minute and take a long, hard look at your current
site. Ask yourself if it is everything you want it to be? Or, is
it starting to get that 'old and tired' look, too?
